I’m Patty Abbey, a Ghanaian Author and screenwriter based in Accra,Ghana. I write emotionally rich, culturally rooted fiction about friendship, love, and the pressure of societal expectations. My books include Purses and Wallets and The Exes, and my newest is Torn. Outside of writing, I work in documentary production. That work shapes everything I write, from novels to screenplays.I write for readers who want warm, honest stories they can see themselves in.
