she ran. Years later, she is working in a London art-theft syndicate, moving between identities so easily that she sometimes forgets which one is real. She’s sent to steal a painting by Edidiong, an artist who believes honesty, however costly, is the only thing worth making. He is the last person she should fall for. Becoming someone he could truly know was never part of the plan. Elsewhere, Ojoma is haunted by visions she can’t explain, fragments of what’s coming, rarely knowing how to stop it. As old secrets surface and the lives they’ve built start to unravel, Tiwa, Edidiong and Ojoma must decide what they’re willing to lose to live honestly. Because sometimes the greatest theft isn’t a painting. It’s the person you might have become.
