The corridor leading to the Central Research Laboratory that housed the ‘APIN’ Lab, where Adesuwa worked in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos/Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Their love started soft, was therapeutic, enviable. Adesuwa and Mide would give up anything for each other. They would do whatever it took to keep what they shared. Even when the challenges that followed marriage came, they were a team.
However, we do not know what we are capable of when we are put to the test. Some words that cannot be taken back are spoken. Silence lingers in place of communication. Mistakes are made. Wrong decisions are taken. And Adesuwa chose vengeance. But they are stuck forever, as long as Adesuwa can keep the secret of her vengeance protected.
