Ashley Okoye’s dream is to be married to her boyfriend of nine years. She thinks he’ll propose on or before Valentine’s Day, now that they’re financially in a better place. He was recently promoted, and Ashley is the assistant manager at the top restaurant in Nigeria.
Theodore Onyia, Nigeria’s richest and most celebrated chef, is known as The Architect of Love for his romantic hotspot, Cupid Restaurant. But behind the scenes, Theo lives a lie. He doesn’t believe in the very love he serves night after night.
From the moment Ashley walked into his restaurant, Theo knew she was trouble. Though determined to keep his distance, he finds himself helplessly drawn to her. He limits their encounters, but no one tells Cupid where to aim—especially when love is on the menu.
Then Theo discovers someone else is planning to propose to her. Admiring her from afar was bearable—until someone else planned to propose. Can he face his fears and fight for her heart? Or has Cupid’s arrow struck only him—leaving Ashley in someone else’s arms?
