Everyone Had a Reason

Eight people. One dead man. And a house full of secrets.

When wealthy businessman Alistair Vance summons eight people to dinner at Vance Manor, none of them knows exactly why they've been invited. Each has a complicated history with Alistair. Each has something to lose. And each is carrying a secret.

Before the night is over, Alistair is found dead in his study.

At first, the evidence seems simple: a locked room, a glass of whiskey, and a house full of people with motives. But Detective Naomi Ferris soon discovers that nothing about the night is as straightforward as it appears.

One person is hiding financial secrets. Another has been cut from the family. Someone stands to inherit millions. Someone returned to the house for something that was never meant to be found. And someone knows far more about Alistair's final hours than they're willing to admit.

As Ferris pulls apart their stories, every alibi begins to crack.

Because everyone had a reason.

Not everyone had an alibi.
