One week. One lie. One fake relationship. What could possibly go wrong?
Betrayed by her boyfriend, best friend, and boss, Sharon Okeke is left both heartbroken and broke. Then she crosses paths with Damien Chuks, the richest and most sought-after bachelor in Nigeria, who makes her an offer too tempting to refuse.
To get his parents and the media off his back, Damien needs a girlfriend for a week. And who better than the tipsy woman who poured out her entire life story to him at a bar? But Damien may have a reason of his own for wanting Sharon to play his pretend lover.
When the line between real and fake begins to blur, a single week may be enough to set two strangers’ hearts ablaze and to change their not-so-perfect lives for better or worse. Where do the lies end and the truth begin? And will their hearts be strong enough to love beyond the pretence?
