Once a book is in your library, open it in the Sọna Reader app for iOS or Android. The app is now the reading environment for full books and eARCs, with tools for comfortable reading online or offline.
Open a Book
- Install the Sọna Reader app from readsona.com/download.
- Sign in with the account that owns or received the book.
- Open Library and tap the book cover or title.
- If you were reading already, the app returns you to your saved position.
Navigate the Reader
Swipe left or right to move between pages. Tap the centre of the screen to show or hide the reading toolbar. The toolbar gives you access to the chapter list, bookmarks, highlights, notes, font controls, and themes.
Change Font Size and Theme
Open the toolbar and tap aA to adjust the font size or choose a reading theme. Sọna includes Light, Sepia, Dark, and Black themes. Your preference is saved for future books.
Bookmarks, Highlights, and Notes
- Tap Bookmark to save your current position. Each book holds one bookmark at a time.
- Select a passage and choose a highlight colour to save it for later.
- Open Notes from the toolbar to add a thought tied to the page you are reading.
- Your reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, and notes remain associated with your Sọna account and supported app devices.
Reading Progress and Completion
Your progress saves as you read. When you reach the end, use Finish to mark the book complete and share your reading milestone. Your Library shows the current percentage and Finished status.
Samples and Purchases
A sample or preview may open on the Sọna website. To read the complete book, buy it on the website and then open it in the Sọna Reader app. Gifts and eARCs are also opened in the app.
