Removed a book by accident? Or just want it back? Your purchase record is never deleted. You can restore any book you have bought back to your library at any time.
How to Restore a Book
- Go to your Account Settings page
- Scroll to Purchase History
- Search for the book you want to restore, or scroll through your purchases
- Find the book and tap Restore
- The book is immediately re-added to your library
What Happens When You Restore
- The book reappears in your library under All Books
- Your reading progress resets to 0%: it starts fresh
- Your purchase record remains intact
- The book is yours permanently, just like before
What You Can and Cannot Restore
You Can Restore
- Any book you purchased and then removed from your library
You Cannot Restore
- Books that were refunded (the Restore button will not appear for refunded purchases)
- Pre-orders that are still pending (these will appear in your library automatically on release day)
Removing vs. Refunding
Removing a book from your library just hides it: it does not cancel your purchase or entitle you to a refund. It is like putting a book on a different shelf; it is still yours.
If you believe you are owed a refund, that is a separate process.
Need more help? Select Report a Problem in your account settings.
Go to Account Settings > Purchase History to find and restore any book you have purchased.
