If you have a Sọna voucher code from a promotion, a giveaway, or any campaign, here is exactly how to use it.
Where to Enter Your Voucher Code
Voucher codes are applied at checkout, inside your cart.
- Add the books you want to your cart
- Go to your cart (tap the cart icon in the navigation bar)
- Look for the Voucher Code field in the order summary section
- Type or paste your code into the field: it will automatically convert to uppercase
- Click Apply
If the code is valid, you will see a confirmation message, and the discount will be deducted from your total before payment.
What a Valid Voucher Looks Like
When a voucher is successfully applied, you will see:
- A confirmation message: "{CODE} applied."
- A new line in your order summary: "Voucher -₦{amount}"
- Your updated total reflecting the discount
Things to Know
Vouchers are case-insensitive. You can type in uppercase or lowercase: it does not matter.
The discount applies to your cart total. If the voucher covers the full cost, your checkout will be free, and no payment details are needed.
Your voucher resets if you change your cart. If you add or remove books after applying a code, the applied voucher clears automatically, and you will need to click Apply again. This is to make sure the discount is recalculated correctly against your updated cart.
One voucher per order. You can only apply one voucher code per checkout.
Vouchers apply to eligible items in your cart. Some vouchers are restricted to specific books or have a minimum spend. If a voucher does not apply to any item in your current cart, you will see an error message explaining why.
If Your Voucher Is Not Working
- Double-check the code. A single wrong character will cause it to fail. Copy and paste directly from the source if possible
- Check if the code has expired. Vouchers have validity windows: if the promotion has ended, the code will no longer work
- Make sure your cart is not empty. A voucher cannot be applied to an empty cart
- Check for a minimum spend requirement. Some vouchers only activate above a certain cart value. If you see a minimum spend error, add more eligible books to meet the threshold
- Try refreshing the page. If the field is not responding, a refresh often fixes it
